We are looking for a Software Engineer / Vilvoorde
Your challenge:
You are responsible for the development of a cloud application: our online calendar (Progenda) used by our healthcare providers and perhaps you as a patient.
You collaborate within an Agile team with a “start-up” mindset.
You also troubleshoot production incidents, but only on the 3rd line.
You already have professional experience in the development of a web application (full stack) and REST APIs which provide an interface to our integrators.
You already have professional experience providing technical support to junior developers.
You translate functional analyzes into technical analyzes and assist the analyst in validating the technical specifications of applications.
You write the technical documentation, help with the writing of the functional documentation and control the documentation written by your colleagues.
What we expect:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer. Mastery of Ruby on Rails and Javascript development in the context of a web frontend (React preferred)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
Practical knowledge of secure software development.
Skills to program and execute functional and non-functional tests (unit test, automated integration test).
Good knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL) and the use of the GIT tool.
Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Linux, Kubernetes, DevOps are assets.
Good knowledge of French and English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
