About the Mission

UI/UX Designer MDC General context The organization operates in a complex technological environment combining a historical application landscape and modern components. The context includes a structural transformation of the IT landscape, modernization of architectures, reduction of technical debt, adoption of the Cloud and compliance with regulatory compliance, in particular NIS2. Existing applications cover critical areas such as unemployment regulation (payments, debt management, financial and accounting processing). Some of these systems are based on legacy technologies, while new Cloud/hybrid architectures are emerging. The architect plays a key role in harmonizing, securing and making these architectures coherent. Main Responsibilities As a “UI/UX Designer” Proven experience in designing themes for Angular applications is required. Mastery of Angular components is an essential prerequisite. Excellent knowledge of responsive design as well as web accessibility standards is essential. Front-end development skills are an added advantage. The designer’s mission will be to support us in the creation and structuring of a coherent style guide. This will notably cover defining styles for lists and their elements, buttons, the side navigation bar, the title bar, as well as other key components of the interface. The designer will also intervene to improve the existing layout, in order to make it clearer, more intuitive and more user-friendly. This includes, for example, optimizing the use of list views leading to detailed views, as well as structuring and organizing navigation elements. Finally, particular attention should be paid to the accessibility of the theme for all users. As such, the choice of colors should take color vision deficiencies into account, and typography and font sizes should be selected to ensure optimal readability and clarity for users with varying visual needs.  Technical skills required – Proven experience (7+ years) in theme design for complex Angular applications. – Expertise in modern Java (Spring, microservices, API-driven, event-driven).  Behavioral skills – Excellent analytical and synthesis skills. – Structured and educational communication. – Global vision and ability to keep an overview. – Quality orientation, autonomy and proactivity. – Ability to connect business needs and technical issues. Education – Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Language skills – Very good command of French, Dutch.   Start date: 1 1/05/2026 (ASAP) Working conditions: teleworking permitted for 3 days/weeks after a period of 2 weeks within the central administration.
