Job description
The FSMA is currently operating the datacenter edition of the following Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. Those products are used to manage a DEVSECOPS pipeline, software development projects, documentation wikis, internal service desks, and a CMDB..
The FSMA is looking for a highly experienced Senior DevSecOps architect specialized in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to assist its DevSecOps engineer with the assessment, design, and implementation of a new self-hosted DevSecOps ecosystem aligned with our company’s long-term IT strategy and help guide the migration to this new system.
A key driver of this initiative is the progressive end of on-premises support within the Atlassian ecosystem, requiring a structured transition toward alternative solutions. The role must explicitly address the decline of on-premises Atlassian solutions and define a sustainable alternative aligned with the company’s sovereignty and security requirements.
The objectives are to:

Maintain control and sovereignty over its tooling (on premises / self-hosted)
Reduce vendor lock-in
Strengthen security integration across the development lifecycle
Align the FSMA practices with a DevSecOps model

The mission combines audit, strategic definition, tooling evaluation, and implementation guidance, with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft (.NET) environments, resulting in the establishment of a migration plan and the implementation support.

Technical Skills

Strong experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps architecture
Hands-on experience with self-hosted DevOps platforms
Experience with ITSM, ticketing, wiki, Git service, CI/CD pipeline design and automation and Asset Management (CMDB) tools
Experience with the migration from Atlassian tools to alternative tools deployed on premises
Experience with application security (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management) and package management tools

Soft skills

Ideally bilingual Fr/Nl. If not, fluent in Fr or Nl with a very good knowledge of the other language (passive knowledge: able to correctly understand and speak a bit in the other language)
Ability to conduct audits and deliver actionable insights
Pragmatic mindset focused on business value
Experience in Change Management, involving development teams and end-users
