About the Mission

What does your job as a Product Owner Inbound–Outbound look like?
As a Product Owner Inbound–Outbound, you represent the business for a crucial digital product within the Customer Experience domain. You play a key role in further digitalizing and optimizing inbound and outbound processes and act as the link between the business and IT. You translate needs, ideas and strategic objectives into concrete, high value solutions and ensure that the right priorities are set. You always maintain an end to end perspective, with particular attention to the customer, the employee and the distribution partner.
 
What will you do?

You represent the business for the product and are responsible for the vision, the value and the priorities

You work closely with stakeholders: on the IT side, with the Scrum Masters, Agile Teams, Domain Leads and architects; on the business side, with the product developers, operational departments, distribution partners, portfolio managers and the other Product Owners

You own the Product Backlog Items: you write, maintain and prioritize tasks (changes, stories, …)

You support the Agile Teams in preparing and guiding Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and you play an active role during Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups and other ceremonies

You translate the captured needs and high level feature requests into clear and manageable user stories

You are authorized to close stories when they meet the agreed upon criteria

You participate, when necessary, in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

You actively take part in demos, evaluations and retrospectives

You ensure smooth and transparent collaboration between the business and the Scrum Teams

You align sufficiently with the business and manage expectations

You follow market and digital developments and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

This is how you fit perfectly into our team

At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience in change management and transformation trajectories

Demonstrable experience in business (e.g. customer service, product development, operations, …)

Experience in organizing and supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders

Ideally, knowledge of Agile/Scrum, preferably within a SAFe context

Very good command of Dutch, French and English

People oriented and energized by collaboration

Strong oral and written communication skills

Customer oriented thinking and acting

Strong organizational skills

Decisive and autonomous

A hands on mentality

Enthusiastic and able to bring others along through change

You maintain an overview and reason in an end to end manner
