Mission description
As a PMO / Delivery Manager, you work within the Information Systems (IS) department in direct support of the IS Transformation Program and the CIO Office.
You contribute to the achievement of the IS Development Initiatives prioritized by the ExCom in the annual IAB.
You report to the IS Transformation Program Manager and work closely with:

IS domain managers,
project managers and delivery leads,
external partners,
business stakeholders.
The CIO office and the PMO IS

 
Your role combines responsibilities of delivery management, cross-functional coordination and PMO governance, in order to ensure consistency, implementation, control and performance. overall management of strategic IS initiatives.

Your main responsibilities
Management of the delivery of IS initiatives

Support the operational implementation of ExCom priorities into concrete IS initiatives and projects, with clear scopes, aligned with the various Business and IS stakeholders
Ensure overall management of the delivery of critical IS development initiatives (scope, planning, dependencies, risks, capacities)
Ensure good synchronization between critical projects and run activities impacted by these projects
Monitor the progress of deliverables, identify alerts and propose corrective actions in the event of deviation

 

Responsibilities at PMO / Governance level

Support PMs and the CIO Office in evaluating prioritized requests in terms of value, impacts, dependencies and delivery capacity
Coordinate the planning of IS resources (internal and external) for critical projects in conjunction with area managers
Supported r the PM of critical projects, if necessary, in the identification of points potentially blocking the completion of projects, in the search for solutions with IS management
If necessary, support departments and projects in the application of specific key management processes such as Sourcing & Procurement management, Vendor management, Scope management, Stakeholder management, Risk management, Planning managements, Budget management etc.
Ensure qualitative reporting of PM’s to IS management and governance bodies (Boards, SteerCo, ExCom, program committees)

 

Continuous improvement and performance

Contribute to the alignment of project practices (methodologies, standards, tools) within the IS department
Capitalize on feedback on critical projects and support the PMO Office in proposing and implementing measures to improve the application of project methodologies in force within the IS
Make the colla easier cross-functional cooperation between IS teams, external partners and business lines
Act as a PMO/Delivery reference point for critical and structuring initiatives

Knowledge of languages

French or Dutch: excellent
Second language (French or Dutch): very good
English: good

Additional information: The mission can be renewed for a maximum duration (initial duration included) of: 880 working days.
