About the Mission
For several years, the FASFC has been striving to become a fully data-driven organization and relies on a central data warehouse for its reporting and analysis. Given the rapidly evolving technologies and business needs, the FASFC now wants to modernize this platform by migrating this platform to the Microsoft Azure cloud. This transition involves the implementation of new, powerful tools, including Microsoft Fabric (ETL) and Power BI. To help us with this challenge, we are looking for two Power BI Functional Data Analyst / data model and dataset developer. Mission : Understand the business processes and their interdependencies Translate the business needs into technical requirements Design and optimize datasets and their data models from the data warehouse In collaboration with Data Engineers Align Power BI models with the star schemas/Snowflake of the data warehouse driven by MS Fabric processes Implement and ensure the governance, security, publishing, monitoring and performance of datasets An active role in the testing and validation of the developed datasets Respecting the standards, governance and internal procedures Documenting the solutions developed Technical skills: Power BI Desktop & Service (datasets, reports, dashboards) Tabular modeling and dataset optimization in the cloud Data Warehouse concepts (modeling Kimball / Inmon, star schema, snowflake) Advanced knowledge of DAX Power Query, SQL Row-Level Security, Power BI and data governance on Azure Integration Power BI ↔ Microsoft Fabric / Azure CI/CD for Power BI (Azure DevOps ou GitHub) Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect for documentation and knowledge of SAP BI universes are a plus. Required profile: Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience in Power Bi (implementation and modeling of datasets) in a professional environment At least 5 years of work experience in functional analyzes and data analysis Practical knowledge of data modeling methodologies Practical knowledge of SQL, advanced DAX, Power Query, MS Fabric Excellent communication and pedagogy skills Sense of optimization Ability to work in a team and popularize technical concepts FR/NL with a good passive knowledge of the other language (required) Depuis plusieurs années, l’AFSCA s’efforce de fenir une organizational pleinement orientée données et s’appuie sur entrepôt de données central pour la production de ses rapports et ses analyses. Respect the standards, the governance and the internal procedures. Documentation of the solutions developed. Competence techniques: Power BI Desktop & Service (datasets, reports, dashboards). Modélisation tabular and optimization of data sets in the cloud. Concepts of the Data Warehouse (modélisation Kimball / Inmon, star schema, snowflake) Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL Row-Level Security and Power Governance. BI and requirements for Azure Integration Power BI ↔ Microsoft Fabric / Azure CI/CD for Power BI (Azure DevOps or GitHub) The connaissance of Sparx Enterprise Architect for the documentation is a plus The connaissance of the university SAP BI is a first profile search: Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience Minimum 3 ans d’experience in Power BI (mise en place & modélisation de datasets) et environnement professionnelle Minimum 5 ans d’expérience en fonctionnelle & data analysis Connaissance pratique des methodologies de modélisation de données Connaissance pratique de SQL, DAX avancé, Power Query, MS Fabric Excellent communication et pedagogie Sens de l’optimization Capacité à travailler en équipe et à vulgariser les concepts techniques FR/NL avec bonne connaissance passive de l’autre langue (obligatoire)
