What does our service do? Our team consists of two departments. The largest department is responsible for conducting investigations in the various areas of responsibility of the FSMA, just as an investigating judge does in the judicial world. The other department is responsible for managing the banker’s oath, i.e. ensuring that bankers meet their ethical obligations. Where do you end up? Our team is a multidisciplinary team of about twenty colleagues: lawyer-researchers, file managers and, last but not least, three management assistants. As a member of the assistant team, you are involved in the daily ins and outs of the service. You perform various supporting tasks for the team. You are the point of contact. Communicating in a professional and respectful manner, both in Dutch and French, is therefore a must. What does your position entail? You reread and put the finishing touches to letters, reports and notes. You manage correspondence and e-mail traffic (inventory, dispatching, follow-up and classification) and participate in other administrative follow-up tasks. You handle occasional telephone calls.
