About the Mission

Within the Public Service of Wallonia-Digital, you assume the role of solution architect led by the Accountable Integrated Application Service Center (CS AIR) of SPW Digital on behalf of SPW Finances. The main activity will concern the architecture of an IT solution for the regional recovery of registration rights and inheritance rights (DES) program.

Context

As an IS architect, you strengthen the team of CS AIR architects while being dedicated to the DES Program and activities in the tax field. You will mainly be in contact with business lines, analysts and development teams to architecturally frame the developments and evolutions of the Information System and document architectural decisions.
You will work in close collaboration with the team in charge of the coordination and cross-functional management of tax IT activities.
You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team set up within the context of the program.

Essential criteria for the successful completion of the mission

The activities of the information system architect will be, among others:

Support the DES program at the architectural level and support the program management team in technical decisions and development strategies.

Understand and assimilate the process descriptions and functional and non-functional business requirements that will be produced as part of the analysis phase.

Design modular and well-integrated solutions that meet these needs. Identify, define, organize and model the components constituting these solutions in order to maximize their efficiency and agility and minimize development and maintenance costs.
Model solutions in the SPW Digital architectural repository and communicate them in the form of architectural files to the teams in charge of development. Play an advisory and monitoring role with regard to the latter.

Define and promote the use and respect of standards. Determine how to develop the application base when standards evolve or when certain technologies become obsolete. Promote innovative solutions wherever possible.

Ensure optimal technical integration of new components and new technologies to guarantee the maintenance or improvement of the consistency, performance and security of the information system.

Ensure, in conjunction with coordinators and project managers, the architectural monitoring of the various projects resulting from its work.

Be able to participate in the development and respect of the enterprise architecture and a holistic vision of the information system. Propose a coherent set of reusable cross-functional services, in compliance with SOA principles (standardized contract, loose coupling, abstraction, reusability, etc.).
Supervise an audit mission to review Java code and architectural components
