About the Mission
We are looking for an experienced Progress developer.As a Progress OpenEdge Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining, modernizing and extending our business-critical applications. You work in a hybrid environment combining classic ABL development with modern API-driven architectures (PASOE).You will work alongside analysts, project managers and end users in a team with other progress experts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications in ABL (Advanced Business Language)
Design and optimize database access (OpenEdge DB)
Build and expose APIs via openedge studio
Analyze and improve performance (queries, locking, transactions)
Integration with internal and external systems
Profile Must-have skills
Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge / ABL
Solid understanding of:
Temp-tables, datasets, buffers
Transactions and locking (NO-LOCK, SHARE-LOCK, EXCLUSIVE-LOCK)
Experience with OpenEdge database design and performance tuning
Knowledge of APIs
Experience with PASOE (Progress Application Server)
Nice-to-have
Experience with:
.net
Modern IDEs (Progress Developer Studio / PDSOE)
