About the Mission

1. Presentation of ETNIC ETNIC (Enterprise for Information and Communication Technologies) is the IT operator of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. A public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and establishments of the FWB. A central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian French-speaking public sector, ETNIC is involved in particular in: Management of IT infrastructures (on-premise and hybrid), Development and maintenance of business applications, Decision-making and Business Intelligence platforms, Governance, security and data quality, Support for users and business teams. In this context, ETNIC wishes to occasionally strengthen its BI teams via a specialized Tableau consultancy mission. 2. Mission The mission concerns technical and operational support around the design, evolution, optimization and publication of Tableau dashboards, as well as the preparation of the data necessary for their use via Tableau Prep. The mission is set at 20 days of service between the start of the mission (ASAP) and 12/31/2026. 3. Activities 1. Development of Tableau dashboards Design, development and evolution of dashboards with Tableau Desktop. Creation of interactive visualizations Ergonomic and readable formatting of dashboards. Compliance with good data visualization practices. Optimization of user experience. 2. Data preparation – Tableau Prep / SQL Analysis and cleaning of source data. Preparation of usable datasets in Tableau. Use of Tableau Prep Builder for: Development or adaptation of SQL queries if necessary. Checking the consistency between source data and data displayed in the dashboards. 3. Connection to sources & performance Connection to available data sources: Creation or adaptation of Tableau extracts if necessary. Optimization of queries, filters, extracts and dashboard performance. Analysis of loading times and identification of causes of slowness. 4. Publication Publication of dashboards on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, depending on the environment used.
