About the Mission
The Directorate General Innovation & Digital Solutions (DG ISD) of the FPS Interior is engaged in a digital transformation aimed at modernizing its processes, its information systems and its methods of collaboration. In this context, it is looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect capable of ensuring consistency between operational needs and the technological solutions implemented.
Main missions
- Ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions
- Design architectures and technical solutions
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders
- Formalize needs into functional and technical requirements
- Propose recommendations and pragmatic solutions
- Define architectural standards
- Ensure solution documentation
- Participate in the validation of deliverables
Specific tasks and responsibilities
- Define and implement the digitalization strategy
- Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework
- Establish architectural governance (committees, validation process)
- Develop a multi-year digital transformation roadmap
- Coordinate architectural activities within strategic programs
- Supervise the architecture boards and ensure the consistency of decisions
- Contribute to a coherent and secure cloud strategy- Lead initiatives related to cybersecurity (IAM, asset management, NIS2)
- Support the transformation of infrastructures towards new models (e.g. greenfield)
- Supervise the inventory and rationalization of the application fleet
- Ensure consistency between legacy systems and new solutions
- Provide coaching to architects and project teams
- Provide strategic advice to management
- Contribute to the definition of capability maps and reference architectures
Profile sought
Training and experience
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 10 years minimum experience in complex IT projects
- Experience in architecture and digital transformation
- Asset: experience with the public sector (Ministries, European Institutions, etc.)
Technical skills
- Mastery of IT architecture principles (TOGAF is an asset)
- Knowledge of modeling methods (BPMN, UML, Archimate)
- Understanding of the application development cycle
- Knowledge of microservices and application integration
- Skills in data management and infrastructure
